Subi Describes Goru’s Appointment As “Square Peg In A Square Hole, Congratulates Him.

Chief Sunday Subi, the Ojiyovwi of Udu Kingdom and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State has congratulated the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Commissioner representing Udu, Uvwie, Ughelli South and Urhobo communities in Warri South, Hon. Goru Oghenekaro Jonathan on his recent appointment as the Delta State Coordinator of the City Boys Movement for Tinubu 2027.
In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Chief Subi described Hon. Jonathan’s appointment as a square peg in a square hole, noting that it is a well-deserved recognition of his political sagacity and proven leadership capacity.
Chief Subi stated that the people of Udu Kingdom are happy with the appointment and are solidly behind Hon. Jonathan describing it as a source of pride and renewed political confidence for the entire kingdom.
He expressed confidence that Hon. Jonathan’s wealth of experience in politics, youth engagement and community development will greatly strengthen the City Boys Movement in Delta State, especially in mobilising support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Chief Subi further noted that the appointment will not only galvanise party faithful but also foster greater political inclusion of youths across the state, describing Hon. Jonathan as a bridge-builder with the capacity to unite diverse interests for a common political goal.
The City Boys Movement, led by Seyi Tinubu, is a political pressure group focused on grassroots mobilization, youth engagement, and strategic political participation in preparation for the 2027 general elections
